CS Holiday LetsMany of the beaches are great all-year around dog friendly beaches whilst other popular sunseeking beaches are dog friendly during off peak and we have great choices situated within easy reach. You can walk between them on the South West Coast Path, with spectacular views. There is a pawprint rating scheme so that you can find out how dog friendly a beach is before you arrive. Here are our top three for you to look at: 1. SandyMouth A popular unspoilt beach of pebbles and sand backed by incredible twisted cliffs. Sandymouth Cafe is the perfect place to enjoy a drink, bite to eat or ice cream. Breakfast and lunch menus available. Sandymouth is a two pawprint rated place so therefore takes top spot for our doggy beaches. Water bowls, dog bins and dog-friendly walks. You will able to take your dog in some areas but not everywhere. The food area, you can access but probably outside. 2. Duck Pool A remote beach with rock pools overlooked by cliffs often carpeted with wild flowers. This is my favourite. A river flows down the valley and emerges at the top of the beach, giving Duckpool its name. There is much history and wildlife to discover here. Anti tank blocks installed before WW2 can be found scattered along the beach. King William's bridge crosses the river at the top of the access road. Rock pools offer an array of sea life and woodlands are covered in Liches whilst grasslands are covered in flowers. It is a stunning hideaway. Dogs are welcome all year but under control, particularly around livestock and cliff edges. 3. Northcott Mouth Beach This small rocky beach opens up when the tide is out to a massive sandy beach with lots of rock pools to explore. There is a seasonal cafe available. Life guard available July to Sept. You can explore Bronze age burial chambers and views of Lundy Island on a clear day. Dogs are welcome all year around but under control, particularly around livestock and cliff edges.

Dog Friendly Cornish beach Holidays

Cornwall is all about the beaches for us. They are spectacular whatever the weather. We love to have a coffee looking out to sea and taking the coastal walks between different beaches. This makes it a great for a getaway with your pooches.
